Even if you chose to forsake the Brembos and ordered a California Special, the chin spoiler wouldn't be painted. It's either unpainted flat black or paint it yourself.

So only the unpainted part would need to be switched out on the bottom for the CS front?

This would be good news, as the thing I liked least about the GTs was the front end. I've never gotten used to those huge fog lights right in the middle.

Wow I can get the v6 grill on the 5.0 now!! Finally, I don't have to worry about those ugly fog lights anymore!!!

You always could, just have to replace the GT parts with the with the V6 parts.

Remains to be seen if they will do them at the factory that way or not.

Right. The black piece that is under the bumper on the GT pops out and the CS piece pops in. The bumper cover does have to be removed in order to do the replacement. The holes where the fog lamps are mounted in the CS can of course be fitted with fog lamps like dmhines did, or just left open like mine. I've read that Ford is going to offer a brake cooling duct kit that connects to those holes. Maybe it will be available from Ford Racing Performance Parts.

Looks great! I really like the CS fascia, but this is the first one ive seen painted and It looks really good.
