New Mustang GT Emblem?

Do you think they'll change up the style?
It seems with every update they switch it up.
The F-150 did it.
I hope not too much...Has a Ford GT heritage feel.
Maybe we'll see the new direction when they
launch the Ford Falcon in Melbourne next month (FEB 29)?

I've never liked attached emblems. If the "GT" badge delete--a la the '08 Bullitt--ever becomes a Mustang GT option, that'd be something I'd pay extra to get. Has anyone on Earth complained that the Bullitt needs "GT" emblems on the fenders? Of course they haven't!

Worst of all is the odious faux gascap, with the Bullitt's being the least objectionable of the lot. At least the Giugiaro concept has about ten tiny back-up lights arranged around the "rim" of the faux gascap--but again, that faux gascap still sucks outloud even though it actually has a function on the Giugiaro.

Paint the "GT" on the fenders if you must, or at least go with fender decals as was first used on the 1968 Pontiac GTO. I'm not picking on the Mustang GT--I don't like the emblems stuck on the Shelbys, either!

Paint it on, or at least use a decal! If decals are good enough to identify the Mustang FR500C, they're good enough for any Mustangs you or I will ever own! Better still, omit 'em entirely.

The galloping horse on the grille says all that will ever need to be said

I haven't gone and studied the classic emblems on the 60's and 70's this moment, but the '05-'09 badges speak "vintage" to me the most of any of these designs shown.

Emblems I like, decals I do not. I like most all of the iterations of the Mustang GT emblem, if Ford wants to update the emblem with the new gen, so be it.

I like the the emblems and the faux gas cap. To me, they all belong.

I especially like the brushed finish on GT500 and Bullitt fake gas cap- looks aggressive.

...

I like Emblems better than "stickers also, And the 2010 will have a lesser Faux Gas Cap that will at least incorporate the rearview camera.

The first emblem was 94-95 only. This one was used 96-98. I have these on my 01 GT currently.

In a perfect world they would do just a stick on emblem and dump the pins/holes.

I think all the Mustang emblems have been stick on since the 5.0 Fox Body days..... actually i'm positive on that I remember replacing a 5.0 badge on my 87' GT back in the day
