Hey Guys -

I'm new to the forum and wanted to throw out some questions. I'm currently waiting for a 2013 Mustang GT base model (Got VIN, no build date though). Only options are the track pack and Recaro seats. I'm coming out of the pro-touring world and simply wanted a car I didn't have to mess with, and as the Mustang is literally the best option out there, I decided to order one.

Questions:
- Does a base model GT with the track pack come equipped with the track apps or is that for GT Premiums only?

- For those that have gone to 275 series tires on the stock Brembo wheels at all four corners. Do you experience any rubbing and what, if any have been your results, both in handling an braking?

Welcome and congrats on the new car! I'm 99% sure track apps will be on premiums only so you won't have that. I'm not sure about the tire rub issue but someone else will chime in soon.

Congrats on the new car, you'll love it I'm sure. mustangmikeFL is correct, only premium models have Track Apps.

Not to intrude on your thread, but I've got a question myself. The Ford website states that you can only order the "Track Package" with a manual and 3.73 gears. When you order the "Track Package" on a base car, does it automatically add the 3.73 gears (and the additional cost)? Or are the 3.73 gears included in the cost of the package?

 

3.73 gears are part of the track pack along with everything else...Torsen diff, brembo brakes, boss radiator, etc.
