3450 lb is the curb weight for my stripped down 07 GT manual.
The 2010-up add more luxurious items, sound deadening, etc... so I'd expect the weight to go up, not down.

It isn't. Just look at the manual weight in the spec sheet linked on the previous page. The manual is listed as 250 pounds heavier than the auto. That cannot be true. Auto equipped cars should be just a few pounds heavier. Ford said the Mustang V6 track pack should weigh about 300 pounds less than a comparably equipped Camaro V6, which weighs in at 3,728 pounds. That means you can safely expect the 2011 V6 Mustang to sit around 3,450-3500 and no more.

The way I read it was the base V6 has the 11.5", but the Performance Pack has the GT brakes (12.4" IIRC).

6 speed manual transmission
I guess I am going to have to read these press releases more closely because I missed the part about the 6 speed manual transmission. ![Doh](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/doh.gif)

that looked like a 4-banger, but the cyl head design should be similar. Perhaps they use timing chains on the 3.7L DOHC V6? I know Ford uses timing chains on many of its DOHC engines (modular V8s come to mind).

So is this the V6 6 speed manual?
