Need help getting $750 brochure discount to buy my new mustang!!!!!!

So I have a deal pending on a '12 5.0 right now. I am at $27,440 OTD on a bone stock base model Black GT (sticker is 30,100).

I am ready to pull the trigger WITH the 750 rebate I have accounted for in my budget (which would put the OTD to 26690 which is a great deal).

I requested a brochure about 9 months ago so does that take me out of the running to get another?

I dont remember how long my last one took to come....

I have read some people just used a different address and it came in a few days. The only problem being, my dealer said they will NOT accept it if its to a different person or address as Ford randomly audits dealerships for that and they got hit once before.

I would LIKE to use this dealership but if I can get another brochure another way I will use it with whoever will take it to save 750!

I have tried my personal name , checking both the 0-3 months and 3-6 month options. I have tried spelling my name slightly differently and I have even tried the email option a couples of times.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get??

The two cars I have found are the only ones left within a 600 mile range so once they are gone I will only have 2013 as an option which is out of my budget right now!

Thanks in advance for any help!!!

Mine took a couple weeks to get in the mail. But there's also no guarantee you'll get a coupon with the brochure. I wouldn't try any of those misspelling tricks, that might come back to bite ya. If you requested the brochure I think you'll just have to wait and see, but a dealer can run your info through their system and see what incentives you get...if the coupon is coming your way it would show up I believe.

Hmmm well I requested a week ago so hopefully its soon.

I guess as soon as its "in the system" they can look it up on their computer by your last name/zip code. I even watched him type in my name/zip to make sure he didnt mispell it. So far nothing!

That's right just a couple weeks. Did you get all the rebates I think it is maybe 3000 on GT but depends on your zip and there might be other incentives too get them to run vincent and show also if you are getting X plan price sometimes 500 or 750 rebate with that too.

I am 200 under invoice plus the 3000 rebate. As it stands I am about 25,600 (so 4500 under msrp). With that coupon I would be buying the car for 24,850!

I watched him run vincent and I dont qualify for any of the other programs

Request the e-brochure on the Ford website, I got an instant $750 private cash offer through email.

Its so weird because I have tried that too... And nothing!!!

How exactly did you request it? The way its set up now you click "request brochure" and then you can click "download brochure" after which it has a link to "get more information" which then prompts a name/email for more info. I just tried doing this with a new email...maybe this will work. I hope! I really want that mustang but I know as soon as I buy it this **** rebate will show up lol

If you had one before, shouldn't they see it and get their ford rep to extend it for you? If that doesn't work try sending Deysha a PM, though She's off on weekends so you might wait till Monday.

I just put in a bunch of variations of my name and got like 7 in the mail. 3 of them had the coupon. I did it just about a month before I ordered my car and they lasted long enough until the delivery

Were they all the same value coupons?

You can order another one from here or calling the Ford Marketing Headquarters at 1-800-334-4375, r00st.

I've heard dealers have tried to do this, dogiebitt. I on the other hand, can't.

Not to rain on the parade... but if $750 is what will make or break what is already a pretty good deal... should you really be buying the car?

I ordered one and got it the day i picked up my car. The $750 paid for the GT500 spoiler/mud guards, lowering springs and panhard bar. The best mods are free ones.

Good luck op.
