Need help finding best lowering springs for my 5.0 with new wheel setup, please :)

Need help finding best lowering springs for my 5.0 with new wheel setup, please :)

Just ordered some new rims 20 x 8.5 in the front with a +38 offset with 255/35 20 rubber and 20 x 10 in the back with a +44 offset with 295/30 20 rubber on those.

What I am trying to determine is what springs to get and the amount of front and back lower that would be safe with my new wheel and tire setup. Want to avoid rubbing

I think I will also be getting an adjustable pan hard bar to make sure the rear end is centered. Hopefully they can get the car alinged within specs without having to buy caster/camber plates also.

if it's the godspeeds they should look sick...for looks. If you want better performance then a forged 18 will work better with equal sizes all the way around like a 255

I have the wheels on my profile and I don't track the car so don't care about that aspect and they are actually lighter than my stock wheels so the performance will be better. And this is my 3rd mustang with 20 inch wheels and thy perform great and look way better on the current body style IMO 18s are to small and with a 255 tire you get no traction! You need at least a 295 rear tire to get decent traction! Something I have learned through 5 mustangs and at least 10 sets of wheels and tires. All I want to know is what lowering springs to get and what dampers an springs to get....thx!

Seems like the 1" FRPP springs or Steeda Ultra-lites (1.25F/1.4R) are the two common ones. With a 20" wheel, I don't think going much lower than that is going to be fun. Although it's a narrower wheel, you definitely want to check fitment on the front. You may have to roll the fenders to compensate once lowered.

Yeah I am thinking 1" up front 1.5." in back. Will decide once everything is mounted and I can check measurements
