My trip to the dealer for service...bad/good news..

Dropped my car off this morning at the dealer for a rotation. When I picked it up, I checked all 4 wheels and found a chip in the paint of the wheel. Looks like the guy bounced the socket off the wheel.

I showed the service manager and he said he'd replace the wheel at no cost to me. .

This was not the dealer I bought the car from so I was surprised they were so quick to help me out.

Does anyone know the part # for the 19" Painted Aluminum wheels (Option 64V)? His parts guy was having a problem finding it so I wanted to make sure they order the right wheel.

Geez, must have been one of those " first day on the job" kind of a guy, i mean, one would think that with such nice wheels the service tech would be VERY careful when using the socket and impact gun. He probably didn't use an extension with the socket. Whenever my dealership deals with nice wheels, he always has his tech use a manual socket wrench set, and then torques the wheels with torque wrench. Glad to see they will get you a new wheel so promtply. I guess it was so obvious and you were quick to point it out to them.

This should also be of help.

From the third scanned page in the link. It would appear that your wheel is AR3Z-1007-J

With a VIN the parts program shouldn't be wrong.

Somewhat off topic rant... I've had my car since July 1 and my VIN is still not supported at fordparts.com. Any advice?
