My Phone Keeps Disconnecting...any help?
I've had my car since beginning of July and a couple of days ago my phone just disconnected from SYNC. I manually connected it again and a minute later, it disconnected. It's been doing this evertime I drive for the past few days. Has anyone else had this problem where the phone keeps disconnecting? It's bugging the crap out of me and any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

Go into the advanced settings on the screen where you see paired devises. Scroll down to phone book auto-update on/off option. Change setting to off and you should be all set.
I already have Verizon.
The issue is not with the carrier it is with the phone. Sync tries to auto-update it's phone book with the phone book in your phone each time it connects with the phone.
Because you are not able to enter the access code each time to give Sync authorization the phone will disconnect for security reasons. Some smart phones such as BB's have the ability to "trust" another BT device so this is not an issue. The auto-update works just fine.
However on most basic phones with BT this is not an option, as a result the auto-update in Sync has to be turned off to prevent the phone from thinking that someone is trying to access you info without your knowledge.

I have a new BB curve.
Turn off the 911 assist.
Never had a issue since.
However I am in Canada so not sure if it is supported. But I believe it is now.
Seems to be a issue though.

Thanks everyone for your help. I'm going to try the auto update suggestion first, and if that doesn't work, then I guess I 'll resort to turning off the 911 assist. Although, I really hope I don't have to turn that off since it is nice safety feature to have.
