My opinion of the 2010 Mustang

Exterior Changes
Improvements: Hood, front and rear fenders, Lip Style deck lid(prefer none), Rear quarter mounted radio mast(prefer none), Sideview mirrors(plastic overlays available), and sequential LED tail lamps (aftermarket available), rear faux gas cap(looks aftermarket).
Regressions: Front grill, headlamps, Black grill plastic trim ring, rear tail lights and rear black pastic bumper cover bottom.

Interior Changes
Improvements: Instrument Panel, Center stack, Door trim panels, Seat trim and bolstering, and trunk release(finally), 2 way adjustable head restraint.
Regressions: Center armrest(too low), map pockets in seat backs, cup holder covers(more plastic to break)

Performance Changes
Improvements: 315HP, easy fuel capless fuel fill(05-08 has gas fill problems, don't repeat), Driver footrest.
Regressions: 320 torque(horsepower sells cars, torque wins races, no improvement), auto headlamp, BLACK BOX!!.

Options
19" wheels = too expensive tires, due to odd size.
SYNC will be nice.
Rear View Camera = like a minivan, roflcopter.
Dual Zone Climate control = like a Mustang needs that, roflcopter.
3.73 axle = FTW
Dual Piston calipers = FTW

My $.02

MYCOLOR is still available. Ambient Lightning and MYCOLOR are standard.

I was always under the impression that the current stang had duel piston calipers. If not, what are they then?

The hips are cool, the rear mirror shape is better - although I actually prefer black.
The rest of the exterior makes me glad to have an 05.

The interior is an improvement, although lacks the nostalgia of the 05.

Overall, my opinion is that the 05 is a 69 w/ modern technology. The 2010 is just an updated 2009. I prefer the 05.

I agree with that and prefer the 06 over this revision (yes I may be biased).

The thing I find particularly strange is the V6 has body color around the edge of the grille but the GT has the satin/matte black, which looks bad IMO.

Wonder if I can get those mirrors on my 06.

I agree, I kinda think the base model is more attractive than the GT model! (this is a first)
