the black looks so much better i don't know why ford didn't do it on all of their mustangs with grills, they do paint the girls individually not on the car, but I'm guessing they wanted them to be CS exclusive maybe?

as for standing up to the heat, I'm sure it will not have any problems, because the calipers and rotors heat up the wheels more than compared to heat coming from the vents, and there are many who use these on their wheels and i haven't seen any pealing yet. I want to try to use this around the bottom defuser and see how well it stands up around the mufflers area.

Did you need special steering wheel puller?
Was it easy enough & apprx. how long it take? Thanks!
no puller was needed, i downloaded a simple instruction from online on how to swap the boss steering wheel, took me about 25-30 min or so.

That looks great. I've been considering painting all the crappy plastic cladding on my GT500 -- but this looks like a better option, especially with the hood vent on my car. Thoughts??

do it, go to home depot, get the spray can of plasti dip, if you don't like it you can peal it off, also its a good way to test to see if you like it blacked out and then you can prep and paint it for real in black.

i think on ebay there are different colors available also.

Going first thing in the morning. I do like the semi-gloss better, so I'm hoping they have a clear-spray too. If not, can I use another brand's clear over the top? Or will that take away the ability to peel it off in the future??

They make a Plasti dip glossifier... it will save you the trouble of mixing. Home Depot carries their full line- you'll have ot order it, but some do shelve it. You just spray it on top of the current plasti dip

i believe its basically a clear coat yes? i have a gallon of clear, black and thinner. mixing clear with black might give you a satin semi glossy look, applying over the black will give it a more glossy look. i gotta test it out on the back panel. it sure does look a much better a bit glossier.

I never noticed that the interior door handles on the 13 are black now and not chrome? Hmmm
