My car is never being delivered!
Well 05fordgt (Jeff) just called to inform me that my car was one of 18 that will never ship due to quality issues! Ford reordered the car, but they have not given Jeff any idea as to when it may arrive......WTF!!! I see Ford really values me as a customer!
I FEEL THE REPLACEMENT VEHICLE SHOULD BE GIVEN A HIGH PRIORITY!

That really sucks to hear, especially since you've been waiting so long. But it will be better than having got that car and having some major issue with it and having to get it fixed and be without the car anyways. I hope they get it to you asap

That sucks that you will have to wait longer. On the other side of the equation, how would you have felt if you had been sold a lemon?

hmmm thats a pretty false statement right there. Imagine if you got the car and it was a POS!!! How much fun would that have been? At least they give a crap about turning out a quality product and for that you should be thankful for!!

It really sucks that you have to wait longer, but it would suck a lot worse if you had gotten the car.
I think your replacement car is a prime candidate for "Hot Status". Call Jeff and ask him to go up the chain and make it happen. If he doesn't, then go up the chain yourself. Don't take no for an answer. Inform each person you speak to that you are willing to work with them, but that you will go above them if necessary.

Maybe I didn't phrase it correctly.....I feel my REPLACEMENT vehicle should be given some sort of priority. I commend them for not shipping the defective vehicle, but how about doing something to speed up the new car??

Why should it take that long, for them to tell someone, that they will not get their car?
That is totally unacceptable! It took 6 weeks to figure out they couldn't fix it?
Rick was one of the first to have an order submitted, I understand they didn't start building till mid March, but give him a break, this is uncalled for.
Just my thoughts, but I would feel the same!

That setup comes out to be what like 45K? (Pre out the door price)
For a few thousand more you can get a brand new 2010 GT500...

Hey Rick, just sent you a text. Your gonna get a PM from a fellow Forum Member. He got things moving on his car as he emailed a certain person. Give this certain person from Ford your old VIN number and tell him your displeasure.
FORD, GET THIS GUY'S CAR BUILT NOW!!!!

OK, this sucks for the buyer but I'm more interested in the ISSUE that would cause Ford to scrap not ONE but 18 cars.
We're a small subset of all Mustang buyers here. But at least TWO members have been told their cars are being scrapped. That seems like a pretty high percentage to me.
If I remember correctly (and I'm not saying I do) I thought the other VIN was in the 11xxxx series as well, possibly even 118xxx.
What could cause them to scrap 18 cars, so far two of which appear to be GT/CS cars. I realize the blend may have something to do with it since the common components were probably assembled the same day but holy smokes... I'd be leary of any car built around then. Having written that... mine is 116xxx... and has been delayed until recently. Maybe mine just passed scrutiny. . . or was missed.
