I love the rain, you can get some awesome pictures of your car in the rain actually, you just got to find the good locations. Like a run down rusting old factory, or a nice forest or park

hey tint is a modification. Any change to a car in any way other than the way you got it is a modification. I'm only backing this because that's all I've done to my 2011 XD lol

Congrats Christie! Car looks mean as heck. I like the way you optioned it too. I'm a little jealous your car has 6 gears and mine only has 5. I guess mines an old clunker now.
Enjoy it. When you wash it I'd do hand wash only and I'd get some grit guards for the soap buckets. Also if my wash mitt hits the ground it's gone.
Again enjoy it. Maybe a few spirited drives can turn that fiancée into a car guy after all.

[quote=csledd;5928096]Yeah I'm hoping someone designs something cool to cover it up with.. maybe something simple like a little cloth with a pony logo on it or something.
How about this lol

Shifter
Congratulations on your new car! It's gorgeous but also menacing at the same time! When I got my '11 GT, I was contemplating between Black and Sterling Gray paint. I really loved the look of the black ones but ultimately decided against it because of the high maintenance it requires in order to keep it clean and swirl-free. I still think about the black but now equally love my Sterling Grey.
On a separate note, I noticed the later GT builds with Rapid Spec 401A comes with a slightly updated shifter **** and (maybe) shifter boot. I recently got my aluminum **** **** but it appears to be the slightly older type as seen on the original 2011 Mustang brochure. The new one has a chrome looking flange or collar at the bottom of the **** which got me curious. is that a one piece unit or a separate collar ring? What does the shift boot look like, particularly around the shifter opening, when the **** is removed? As I still need to find the correct boot (my dealer ordered the wrong part), I might also look into getting the updated one.
Check out my **** and the challenge I'm having with it for reference: https://themustangsource.com/f803/fa...011-gt-486244/
P.S. I'll be more than happy to trade my standard shift **** and shifter boot with your hot to handle 401A setup if you'd like
