Yet another UPDATE –
Went back to the dealer and they found that the RF tire had a steel belt shifted through a hole in between an outer tread block, it caused the tread blocks around it to stick up higher than the rest.. It must have there for awhile as there was some decent tread wear in that area only. Nobody noticed this until today including myself, 4 tire shops and the dealer.
They just ordered a tire under warranty and I am back in the loaner.
I wonder if this will be the fix?

Do you think Sport mode would make this feel worse? Why don't you take a GT on the lot for a test drive and if it drives perfectly have them install THOSE tires on your car.

UPDATE AGAIN -
Picked the car up with new tire - still the shimmy at 60mph in SPORT mode and they gouged the brand new wheel mounting the new tire, small marks but still ****ty on a new wheel.
The shop foreman said he took it to 80mph and it was smooth - sure when not in SPORT mode it is ok. He said "this car does not have a SPORT mode"![Frown](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif)
I think at this point we can rule out wheels and tires as the issue. I will be calling them back in the AM and requesting they escalate the issue to a district rep.

I'm pretty confused???? Why does he think your car doesn't have a sport mode? Why don't you two take it out for a drive TOGETHER. There seems to be a lot of cross wired communication going on.

He was not trained on the car it seems. We did not take it together as I had to go back to work with the loaner car. I told him sport mode made the shimmy much worse and he seemed to understand.

Why are you chasing your tail around and around and around?
you had another set of wheels and tires from your friend on,and it did same thing...you've had countless wheel balances, and it did same thing...
this dealership your going too are pretty...well stupid..."no sports mode"...and they order you new tire..put on backwards, then ruin your new wheels (who cares how small scrape is..it should be zero!)
phone fords main office tommorrow...and explain everything you've had to endure...be nice, but demand ford take action (today!) to make things right!

Did I miss it, or have you not checked ball joints and alignment? How about bent rear axle flange? Have tried to simply remove a front wheel, clock it one or two studs, and just tighten it up? What is the runout of the wheel in the hub?
