Good reads, its amazing how anything near 300 HP was a beast back then!

 

And those Camaro5 people besmirch Mustang's one win. Look at those archives.

 

I hope they complete the archives, they also did fairly extensive comparo's of the '87's (new 225 hp 5.0 vs. IROC-Z), the '93's (new 240hp SVT 5.0 vs. new gen Z-28) and the '96's (new SVT 4.6 DOHC vs. new ram air SS) I still have the actual magazines...packed up somewhere.

 

I'm impressed with the 0-60(4.6 sec.) but not the 13.2 quarter mile time. Can't wait to see somebody else test this car. Although I am pleased to see it get 1st place!

 

The archive reviews are great. It was sweet to see the '83 Camaro Z28 H.O. That remains probably my favourite Camaro body style to this day.
