Mustang vs Camaro at the road course
I think the Camaro would have done quite well with a more experienced driver, but for fun, here are two laps where I am tailing him and then pass. Have to feed the Ford vs Chevy battle a bit
I also want to say I am by no means a pro driver - I do the track days for fun and try to stay modest as there are lots of far more experienced and far faster folks out there who I have and continue to learn lots from!

That's awesome. I'd love to do a track day like that. Silly question: how did you get all that data on the screen of your video? Is it some kind of device the track provides (rents) to you, or is it something you bought?

Highly recommend getting out to a track day if you can! The Mustangs do really well especially if you have the track pack

That's cool. So you're using the iPhone to record the video and not a GoPro or similar?
My cousin keeps trying to talk me I to going auto crossing next month. He's been doing it for a few months with his VW GTI and loves it, but I'm more interested in the road courses. Only problem is the cost difference between the two.
Slightly off-topic: how is your pieced-together brake duct kit treating you? I posted in your thread regarding it. I think I'm going to try doing that myself soon to get ready for whatever track event I finally do.

The brake cooling kit I pieced together is excellent. Has been working wonderfully. Still generates a lot of heat but the cooling manages it

Yes I am on the sumitomos. They are wearing very slowly like I wanted. Easily will get another 6-8 track days out of them. Although I really really want r comps or slicks now... I probably have the least sticky tires out of everyone that runs in advanced groups. Haha. But I also spent the least $ on tires

Hahaha, that's awesome! The guy was missing his apexes by over 6 feet. Good job. Great proof that straight line fast is not the same as lap fast. Good thing this wasn't a 1LE with a decent driver (haha, fanning the flames)
P.S I have a full weekend at Grattan raceway coming up in less than 3 weeks. I'm trying to get a mount for my Galaxy S4 to take some videos at last.
