Muffler deletes on... :)

Thanks Patrick for the great deal. I told myself I'd only put these on for track days (except Limerock... stupid sound limit) but after one rev tonight, they are staying on the car full time

Per iphone dB meter 103dB... sounded louder, but it was 7:00pm in a very quiet neighborhood

Video is crappy, I know, and I forgot to do a quick video clip of the GT500's I had on first for an immediate back to back comparison. The video does not come close to doing it justice. They are massively loud but sound simply fantastic in my opinion.

Niiice. What kind are they? How is the drone in the cabin?

Before I got my 500s on I drove around with no mufflers at all (muffler delete) . But as soon as I got to 50 things inside the cabin were shaking. It was too much. How are these?

They are custom ones I bought off a fellow forum member (for a good deal)

I have no clue what they are like driving... the car has been garaged since November with insurance minimized... I'll probably take it out this weekend through my neighborhood just to see how the sound level is inside and to warm the engine and drivetrain a bit, but it's basically garaged till ~April timeframe.

I don't drive it much on the street, so not concerned about it getting obnoxious. If it's a little much for me though, I have the GT500's and the OEM mufflers to toss back on whenever needed. I really bought these for some track time at the ones that that don't have dB limitations!

OK maybe I want to terrify Prius's as well.... maybe...

Custom made at a local shop, 3" pipe using OEM connections and 4" Stainless Works double walled tips (from their Charger R/T catback - my buddy gave the tips to me).

That's exactly what I loved using them for..

Yep - my friend who recently bought a '84 911 with a '76 3.0 air cooled engine got me on the exhaust train. His sounds incredible (also extremely loud...) but it's a really good loud that I've come to admire.

Wish there was a way to capture the sound better, it's really quite awesome. Quite racey

And I'm happy to have dropped a decent amount of weight (~25-30 lbs or so).

Gave in and took the car on a brief drive last night. I'm sure my neighbors love me. It is LOUD but I love it. Now the car is asleep till spring.

Speeds are not accurate, poor GPS signal confused my iPhone.

Sounds awesome!! How bad was the drone just cruising around at ~2k RPM?

More than a slight drone. But for the limited street driving I'll be doing I'm not concerned. Need to find a way to better capture sounds... It is mean and awesome

If you haven't, you can remove your sound tube and the drone isn't as bad. With it on, it's worse.

Thx, but sound tube is looooong gone.

Not concerned at all. I like lighter, "freer flowing exhaust (maybe)" and louder. It's excellent. As long as I drive really really slowly in and out of my neighborhood as to not cause domestic disturbances, I'm good. All the neighbors know I track the car pretty heavily, so they expect my "race car" to be a bit obnoxious

Everything turns to smiles when I offer hot laps at the local track or a little back road seat time
