You won't pick up any HP from it. Just a nicer sound.
I refused to pay for muffler deletes when I could go to a local exhaust shop and get it done for much cheaper.
You can check out the two videos below I made for how the car sounds. Read the video description for what I had done. If you plan on going to an O/R X-Pipe, don't even bother with muffler deletes. It will be WAY too loud and drone like MAD. Ask me how I know this. ;-)
That setup has been, by far, my favorite sounding to date. But as soon as you get rid of your cats, the noise is just too abrasive. So I ended up, finally, settling on a set of Flowmaster Super 44's welded in at the same exhaust shop. VERY happy with the sound now. There's a link to my current set up in my sig.
