Lund Tuner

Just thought I would pass on that Lund is planning to release their own tuner. I am planning ahead for my mods and inquired about a tuner through them. Here is what the reply was:

"So, we are going to be releasing our own flash device within that time frame. The tuner will be available on our site when it's released. Pricing is not available yet on it, but it will be competitive. If you are looking at about 6 months or so, I'd pick up one of our tuners when you get the car."

I know that Lund tunes have a great reputation, so I would imagine that their tuner would be good quality as well.

Lund writes the Kenne Bell tunes, my buddy LOVES his new Kenne Bell tune on his '08 GT500 with a 2.8 shoebox on it ... 700 RWHP is just a ludicrous number, and so much fun, lol

From: CenTex...sort of
Lund wrote both of the tunes I've had put on my 500, and he'll be the one that writes any further tunes on mine should I decide to go with the 2.8 LC.

Wouldn't that make it an email tune some people so greatly despise?

My question (like I posted over on MF.com) is how many tunes are you going to get? Are you going to get free tunes for life or will you have to pay per tune? Will data logging be included for people like myself that is no where close?

You get one tune and if you need revisions for basic bolt-ons thats included in the price. Adding a supercharger, turbo or spray is not included. Also they will do data logging with you. I hit them up about it because the website is not clear on it.

Well if its anything like the tune that came with my Lethal 2.9 kit it includes a custom remote tuning session which involves some data-logging and some conversation over the interwebz.

I've got nothing but good things to say about my experience with Lund.

Yeah, check out the 07-09 GT500 section. I posted a video under the 700 rwhp kit. That's with the 3.25 pulley so it dyno'd 644 rwhp.

Finally ordered my BAP and 3.00 yesterday so hopefully I'll be hitting that 700 number.
