Lowering an '10-'11's GT?

Guys who have lowered their '10's what do you feel is the best way to go for ride quality?

I use to lower my 05 by 1.5" with Eibach. That was perfect and I would not go any lower.
The ride was slightly more harsh, but that also gives a more sports/racing feeling.

2.5" would be IMO a bit too much since you will often hit the bottom of the car on small bumbs.

Sam Strano and alot of other mustang owners seems to thing that koni srt.t's and steeda sport springs are the best upgrade for daily driver handling and ride quality improvments.
