I'm still waiting for AutoArt to come out with a 2011 Brembo GT model. Maybe ill just grab a GT500 one instead, but I'd like one as close to my car as possible.

I found an exact copy of my non-Brembo Race Red '11 GT in 1:24 scale, but that's as close as I've seen.

If you want to get real nerdy, you could buy the silver one and paint it using a touch-up paint spray can. I did that when I wanted a model of my old Explorer and could only find purple as the color. And with how crazy-detailed-oriented you are, I'm sure it would look spectacular done.

LOL... I have made that "bad" an impression on this forum in that short a time eh? Lol.

But seriously tho that is a good idea. I will have to sand it and primer it. Then paint.

That's why I'm hoping the 2011-2012 5.0 cars aren't far behind.

$150...I think you can probably find some place in the US that sells it for a bit less.

Try ebay.....that's where first spotted it

I do wonder if the scale model makers will skip the '11 GTs and go straight to the '13s now

Only '12 I've got is the Maisto 1/24 Boss 302 in Competition Orange, although they do Kona Blue, too.

I think this is more affordable... Though not as god as autoart.

Yep, as nice as the AutoArt one is, $150 is money to spend on the real car, not a model one. That's almost three tanks of gas, 1/3 the cost of Roush axlebacks, and a big chunk of countless other stuff to get instead of a model. That's why I spent $15 on the Maisto one; it does the same job (reminding me of my car and making me smile while I'm at work) as the AutoArt one for 1/10 the price.

Yeah I need to tell the wifey which one I would like for fathers day . As you stated earlier I could just try to paint the silver one to kona.... For 15 bucks why not.

Don't forget to clear coat it, buff out all of the swirls, wax it, add a 3M clear bra...oh wait, who am I telling...
