Rainy day project...

Installed a Ford Racing radiator (these 105-degree days are killers), and a Blowfish Racing tow hook.

Awesome man! I've been really looking into that radiator. Do you have any feedback on it yet? I'm really interested in how it controls engine temps with sustained high rpms.

It is a direct fit replacement for the OEM rad, and went in as easily as a stock one. I haven't driven the car yet because of hurricane Harvey, and it will be raining at least through Thursday, Can't drive in the wet with drag radials.

Yesterday I washed my car and WAS going to take some pics to post until I noticed hood rot made a return visit on my hood. This time it’s on the front and visible. Bummer. Makes me want to put her away for the winter already.

Yeah the bubbles are back but in a different area than was treated I guess. I refuse to have it painted again so it's looking like an aftermarket hood. There goes my plans for an intake and tune over the winter.

Show tow, and first test of my new tow hook. It sure is nice not to have to crawl under the car to hook the winch up.

Finally got the correct wheels from American Muscle, along with the BMR lowering springs. I think the wheel color works with the Sterling Gray....that was a pain to figure out the right color.

Nice man, that wheel color is almost dead on for your car's color. Is it just me, or is your caster alignment off in the front?

It's entirely possible - I lowered the car this past weekend and haven't gotten it in for alignment. Headed later today.

Curious, how do you see caster?

I'm assuming he's alluding to the fact that the back of the wheel/tire seems close to the body.
I think it's an optical illusion because the wheel is turned slightly to the left.
Especially since caster can't be changed in these cars, and certainly wouldn't change by simply installing lowering springs.

The front wheel is closer to the rear of the wheel well then the front. It should be centered right?

Correct - the wheel was turned slightly to the left. I haven't noticed it looking "off" - in a front to back layout - on the car.

Now my camber is a bit off, but I'm hoping the alignment will fix it.
