In a few weeks I'm going to have my tail lenses tinted and there going to be 5%. Can someone please recommend what LED back up bulbs and tail light bulbs to use for this application. I understand the light output with the factory bulbs will be greatly reduced with this tint , therefore looking to use the much brighter LED bulbs so it won't be an issue seeing the brake and parking lights during the day time hours. I looked on American Muscle and they didn't seem to have the LED bulbs I was looking for. Any suggestions on what company and brand LED bulbs I should get? Much thanks for your help.

You're gonna get beraided for tinting the tails that dark on here, just a warning lol.

As for the LEDs, the taillights are already LED, so no sense changing those. For the reverse lights, I used VLEDS website and they will tell you what bulbs you need. I prefer pure white with NO blue tint. Most LEDs you get for the reverse lights will wind up being bluish. I hunted for 5500K bulbs to make sure they were pure white.

So my 11 v6 tail lights come with LED lights already? I saw on lethal performance they were selling a pair of LED back up bulbs for around 15 dollars. They also advised it may need resistors installed on each one for 10 dollars. Just curious, but why would one get be-raided on here for the 5% tint on tail lights. The 13 taillights are jet black as can be with LED bulbs, right?

yeah but the LEDs aren't black or tinted to reduce lighting/visability.

Well maybe 10 % then. Lol. Hopefully the LED back up lights and LED stop lights will shine through the 10% tint.
