LCA on 2013 Bembo pack?

I have read that the Brembo package comes with GT500 LCAs. Can someone please confirm and demonstrate with evidence that it does? Either way, I get poor traction with the stock 3.31 and plan to go 4.10 in the spring. If at this time I have GT500... one, they don't perform well, two what upgrade would be best for the money as there are many options out there? Keep in mind I have a DD, don't plan on doing a supper charger or turbo, might track, will do a cold air intake and tune when gear is done, but want a solid 0-60 time.

Funny you should ask
I just did this on my 13 vert gt, I replaced my stock LCA with Metco LCA, night and day difference.
If the Brembo pkg LCA's are GT500 Lca's, I would be pissed off if I were a gt500 owner.
My advice is to replace them with the Lca's of your choice, I happen to love the metco's but they are pricey.
drove the Cherahola Skyway today and noticed a ditisnct difference in handling with the metco's.

Thank for the help. I agree, I will need some new LCA but wanted to also point out that the stock or even the GT500, as some state are poor. Thanks for the information.

I recommend you address the upper first, if you're experiencing wheelhop or traction issues. That is where the heart of the problem lies. Still got it, go with relocation brackets for the LCAs

The GT500 LCAs aren't really all that bad, just heavy compared to aftermarket. 100,000 miles on them and they'll still be there, working but, I wouldn't be that sure about a poly bushed or heim lower at those mileages on road. You might also find some unattractive noise intrusion from changing these arms out, be aware.

I'm on the Roush upper and UMI LCAs myself. No change in NVH from the Roush upper but a touch more highway gear whine after the LCAs went on.

regular GT LCAs are stamped black.

Brembo pack/Boss 302/GT500 LCAs are painted silver and have extra reinforcement plates riveted into the ends.

Would I replace them? hell yes, they still aren't that awesome, but then again they are good enough for the 662HP GT500, so it makes one wonder.

My Brembo LCA's are all black, no silver, and look exactly like stock non brembo Lca's.
According to 55d site, only difference in LCA on brembo cars is higher durometer bushings.
Also, any part will wear over time, there is no reason to believe an aftermarket lcA with different bushings won't last several years, UNLESS you are tracking the car or auto crossing . Like anything mechanical the harder you use the faster it wears.

There is definitely a difference, maybe they did screw up cause mine are definitely all black.
I notice that the vert bracing is different than mine also, what's up with that?
Ford must have changed the setup on mine, it is a October 12 build, what is you build date?

mine was built on 8.8.2012.

That picture is from the underside of a Boss 302, however. You can see from the extra exhaust outlets on the sides.

That extra convertible bracing is HEAVY. I remember how heavy it was when I installed my lowering springs.

Glad you let me know that, I thought I really got messed over.
The bracing is stout even my mechanic thought it was pretty hefty.

Mine are black, look and handle like stock, and need to be upgraded, especially going with a 4.10. That is why I ask. I just needed clarification for peace of mind. I have Brembo pack, 3.31, and poor traction already. It looks like LCA, UCA, and pan hand bar, will be next after I try the 4.10 alone in the spring.

I have a gt500 and replaced my suspension with Steeda and BMR components. I picked up a clunk noise from the bmr Uca. I am switching it out to roush Uca and roush lca. I will give up some traction for reduced nvh.

They do work wonders over the stock components just some added nvh.

Thanks, I am not impressed with whatever I have. I am looking into upgraded LCA, UCA, and pan hard bar. BMR was the brand I was looking at due to lower cost and results reported by A&M. I will look into Roush. Thanks.

The Brembo and Boss package use the same upgraded control arms as the 2007 GT500. I too an unimpressed. I never expereinced wheel hop in my Bullitt, but the extra 100 HP in my 2013 needs more control. I'm not sure how much of this comes from the Torsen, but my 2013 does the hop really bad.

Thanks for your input. I also agree that it might not be all due to torsen, but something to address nonetheless. What are you thinking to address the hop or in my case spin beyond more driving practice and tires?

Are the UCA all pretty much the same aftermarket wise or is there a better brand to go with? Talking about non heim or spherical joints.

Looking at getting some bmr lower's and maybe white's upper.
