*Knock knock*who's there? its me drive belt

I see this problem is very wide spread in this community I thought I'd share mine. I didn't pay much attention until co-workers began pointing out a loud tapping sound.. Booked appointment for tomorrow to show this to service,I was able to record it just as tsb mentions as "warm and idle engine". is this what most of us are experiencing?

part 2. around 0:28 mark I lay on the floor to record under carriage.. knocking is coming from the passenger side bottom..

One would think, Ford would have had this problem fixed for the 2012's .

Hi HizliBullet,

Since you got your oil changed, were you able to get your 'Stang at the dealer to get this checked out? If not, please make an appointment with them and once that is done send me your appointment date/time, VIN, odometer reading, full name, servicing dealer, and best daytime phone number. I'll see what I can do.

This knock just started about a week ago on my 2014 GT. I have 11500 miles and I can only hear it after the engine is warm. It is not as loud as the one in the video but each day it gets a little bit worse. I drive 18 miles to work (mixed highway and backroads) and once I get to work (or home) I put the car in neutral (manual trans), windows down and I can here it from idle to about 1500 rpm. If I push the clutch in I can feel it in the clutch pedal. If I tap the gas from idle to 1200 and when it starts to fall back to idle it is most noticeable. I have read on the internet that it has been documented for 11 and 12 5.0 engines but not a 14. The posts before mine seem the same, but nobody posted if they got theirs fixed and what was the fix (except the one with the lifter issue)??
Any help is appreciated. I can't get to the dealer until Friday to see what they say.

To be completely honest with you.... keep taking it back. If it gets to the point where they are telling you, its "normal" take it to another dealership and keep doing so until you have resolution... that's what I would do.

A/C stretchy belt TSB 12-8-14. It took me 5 visits and 2 dealers to get it taken care of. They have to remove the front engine cover and and install a tensioner.
