Try switching off your radios before u completely turn the car off. Works on mine.

Hello miner999r,

For future reference, you can find an online copy of your manual here: https://owner.ford.com/servlet/Conte...e&ord=97984474

Giving the voice command USB will be the easiest way to switch sources when you enter the vehicle. There is currently no way to make USB the primary input. You can still access this feature without voice commands by plugging in the iPod via USB and pressing MEDIA > select the USER DEVICE tab > press SOURCE repeatedly until USB appears.

freak, congrats on the ride. Give her awhile for mpg's to improve. Also remember, the mpg's are inversely affected by the amount of pressure you apply with your right foot to the skinny pedal. Enjoy the ride, and post some pics when you get a chance.

BTW, the sunglasses clip was in my glove compartment also.

Tint windows. Unless your 100% sure you want them I would think about it for awhile. Also I don't have a 5.0 but I shift at around 2-2200 rpm with smooth pedal input when I'm trying to get max gas mileage. Got 22-23 mpg on my '12 V6 driving around town which is pretty good considering I had 3.55 gears.

Edit: I meant think about the stripes before you get them its kind of pain if you do it yourself and you don't want to pay double for someone else to do it.

Tint windows always looks good IMO. I know a place where they do it for $125. have gotten 2 cars done there and never had problems.
as for stripes, I think depends on what you plan to do. like change rims or something, i'd do those thigns first, then chose the stripes. though I think on yours just about any stripes would look awesome

I personally love the rims and would never change them...that's what sold me the car as silver was not my choice of color

Lets definitely meet up!

I agree with this guy. that's right around where the automatic will shift on the normal drive mode(best mpg).

lol silver is nice tho. I had the same situation sorta, I wanted Sterling Gray Metallic, but there weren't anymore 13's in that color, so my choice was either get a 14 and lose the rebates/0apr, or choose white or blue.

i'll pm you, cause I also got some questions about mpg, maybe we can more accurately rate our cars since we deal with similar traffic

Thanks Kim at IVT.

Any way to load the contents of an Mp3 player or i pod into the sync computer. I like not having to load CD's and would like to be able to not have to hook up other junk to the car if I don't have to.

More questions for all of you.

I'd like to keep the car pretty much stock (for now). I do want to change the exhaust however, I do not want it to sound loud and annoying. What exhaust makes it sound a little bit better than stock?

Also, I noticed I do not have floor mats in the back and with two little ones going in and out every day that might be an issue. I did get the two front mats. Is the car supposed to come with 4 mats? I'm going down to dealer today to pick up my visor clip...might as well pick that up too.

I dont think you can do that. Best thing to do is put an ipod in there. It's not junk! You put it in one corner of center console and never touch it again.

Get a set of 2011-12 GT500 mufflers and have an exhaust shop delete your resonators. If you don't want too loud, and better sound, that's the way to go.

On the mufflers, the ones on the car will break in, and will be some louder. If your not wanting anything loud, you may want to wait a bit. You may like the sound of the originals.

The floor mats....rear mats didn't come with mine either. Kinda cheap on Ford's part, but it is what it is.

The cars a beauty. Enjoy

I havent actuallygotten any myself yet, but i do plan too and so far best value ive seen is the ones on AM. I think theyre ahout $60 gives you all 4, and the front driver side comes with the extra little flap to cover the slanted part near the pedals.

As for exhaust, yesterday i went with sky hye and heard his GT, he has borla s-types, and it sounds awesome!!! It was very loud though. But i only heard it reving stand still. I dont know how loud they are when just regular driving.
I have the same exhaust on my V6, and if its anything like mine, then they are loud when you want them to be, but still quiet when you dont

EDIT: heres a link http://www.americanmuscle.com/black-floormats-2013.html

Theyre not $60 anymore tho.. Guess they were on sale ol

Do the floor mats have the two button hold downs like the factory ones? I can't tell from the image.
