When I picked up my current car I had to tool around with it for 72 hours before I could bring it home across the border. Best way to spend 3 days that I had in a long time.

You forgot to mention that you're suppose to be driving THERE with me this year to go get the car, and maybe vice-versa next year.

Five days @ 8 hours in the saddle per day. Sounds like about the perfect summer vacation to me. Map it avoiding highways and tolls, so you can break in your new baby the right way.

My status history showed the car leaving production...spending a week on ramp 51, and then showed the "in transit" at all the different stops as it moved to my dealer. It showed up a week earlier than the ETA too.

Some other updates. The color is definitely a hit and so are the MCA gray rims. So you MCA'ers will be happy. Every single person 10 or 11 that I know whom have seen the car over the last day have commented unsolicited on how they loved both the color and the rims.

When I went to Wendy's today, 2 teenagers were flipping out when they saw the car...haha...they begged to have their picture taken next to it...probably to make it look like it was their car and show all their friends...so I let them take the picture...haha.

The electronics package is freakn' awesome. I added it literally 3 days before I was assigned a VIN and I wasn't really sure if I'd regret spending the 2 grand on something I'd hardly ever use. That regret is definitely not there anymore. I actually couldn't imagine not having it now.
