interest on GT500

Those that have bought the new GT500 or in the field- what range of interest rates have ppl been getting with these? Is ford doing any promo's on them? Is it the same range for a GT as it is with these GT500's?

i know interest is based on many factors- one being credit report...but what's the avg rate/range

Just curious

There are zero incentives. Interest is more dependent upon one's credit and length of loan than on the car itself. I qualified for 2.19 from usaa. Ford chose not to match or beat it. Make sure your credit is in good shape and you can get great rates.

Never bought a bike so I wouldn't know. Usually the shorter the loan the lower the rate, so if you're going to get one, try to finance it for less than 60 months. I'm financing for 36 months, which is part of why I was able to get the rate I did.

My credit is in the 800 range on all 3 reports. My loan is a 72 month term with 2.24% rate. Was originally 2.54, but they knocked off .3 because I put more than 20% down.

I went with the 72 month simply to lower my payment (I can still pay more if I want of course). The 60 month rate was less than .5 point better and if I make minimum payments all the way I'll only pay a few hundred extra in interest. Old National Bank is the lending institution.

So is mine. Unless it's that high, he probably won't get that kind of rate for a loan that long. I was told that my credit saved as much as 3% on interest, a not insignificant amount. Big difference between 2.19 and 5.19.

I got 1.9%, but it wasn't through Ford - my loan came from Bank of America. Excellent credit.

My IR is at 2.9% through First Tech Federal Credit union for 60 months, it was 7.9% through Ford initially. I refinanced recently. It's not great, my credit isn't bad it's in the 700s but first time owner and my age and sex isn't helping me.

you might actually find better rates through one of your local credit unions.

For my '12, I got 2.79% through the dealer (who got it through Capital One) and went that route because it was easiest logistically but I could have probably got 1.49% through my local credit union.
