He's pretty trust worthy (him and another guy who I trust on my car) so I would let him wrench it other than me.

I'll let you know and post vids once ready for sure!!!

yeah i hear the header install is a pain in the butt.

UPDATE 5/12/16

Well... I'm reduced to a 7 year old once again - eager with anticipation. I'll be frequenting the UPS site because all my new exhaust parts are on their way!!! Kooks really stepped it up with basically a 1 week turn around time.

I also am in contact with my installer and it will either be Monday or Wednesday next week (weather permitting).

Enjoyed my Friday immensely - gotta smile when your UPS guy arrives shortly after you do from work.

The overall packaging was very well done. They took care to ensure that no metal parts were in contact. I enjoyed the wrapping of the side pipes The welds were superb. That long tube header medusa head was a work of art. I'd put the quality of Kooks alongside Corsa. Excellent. I can't wait to get these babies on - Monday. More pics and vids to come.

Awesome!! Beautiful components I like that you chose the H-pipe over the X, that would be my choice as well for maximum muscle car growl

How do the side pipes work, is there a cap/cutout setup? Or will the flow be split between the side pipes/rear Corsas for a permanent 4 outlet setup?

Hi guys!!! sorry been so swamped at work - but also, I'm fine tuning my set up. I want to save all the pics, videos, and verbiage until I get it perfect.

p.s. the setup is/was INSANE. I had my shop fab me several restrictor plates. LOL. I'm extremely extremely extremely happy. Best part - I shocked my wife so much in the driveway, she started swearing at me

UPDATE 5/20/16

I know I know... I'm WAY behind on updates. I took pics and vids and have had the car for a couple days, but I was fine tuning the setup. The wide open side pipes were insane - a little TOO insane. So the exhaust setup is complete. I just sat at the shop over lunch while they fabbed up the restrictor plates and put it in.

Omg... NOW my Kooks set up is done. She's perrrrrrrfect. We went with a 3/8" opening. That's the right amount. Growl from the sides, proper breathing front to back - headers to Corsas. It just sounds completely bad a**. Pics and vids this weekend I hope.

You know it's right when the wife cusses at you. When I took my wife for a ride in the 'Stang after adding the supercharger, her words after I punched for the first time were "Holy sh*t!!".

FINAL UPDATE 5/22/16

Alright... sorry it took so long. Here's the final product. Watch the vids for some photos as well. I pasted the final few below as well. Watch the vids in full screen and select HD (sorry not 1080p - but 720p).

Enjoy.

Thanks to all who helped me out through this 8 month run. Also thanks to Jay for the install help and advice.

Holy Kooks man you just took Satins Chariot to a new level. Looks good and sound evil.

Did you have to tweak your tune for the LT's?
