Yeah, because Ford is notorious for announcing new models and never coming to market with them, right?

Your posts are vaporware. I'm still waiting for something meaningful to come from them.

If there is an internet term that is well past it's use by date this is it.

I found this forum while searching information about the rumors on the 2011 Mustang a couple months ago. I became a site supporter the same day.

Methinks someone either doesn't understand the definition of vaporware or is a troll.

Me also thinks that someone else doesn't understand that this forum is for the 2010+ refreshed S197 Mustang and not for the 2010 model year Mustang exclusively. This is an understandable...err... misunderstanding as the forum name and description is somewhat erroneous (2010 Mustang News and Rumor of the Next Generation Mustang), since the 2010 refresh isn't really the next generation nor is this forum any longer used solely for 2010 Mustang news. Perhaps it should be changed to something like "2010+ Mustang News and Rumor of the Refreshed S197". Just a thought...

Anyway, if one would notice, the forum above this one is for the actual next-gen Mustang (speculated to start with the 2014 model year) and the one below it is for the original 2005-2009 S197. Using context clues, its not hard to deduce that this forum is the best place to discuss the refreshed S197.

Yes, indeed. Vaporware would entail a product announcement FAR in advance (I'd say the recent announcement as compared to when we will see '11s with the new engines does NOT qualify) and with uncertainty about the intent to produce.

Correct-a-mundo! Time for a forum rename!

Thank you. Adam has been here a long time, but I don't remember such negative attitude.

As I said in my other thread, Adam you are a d-bag. And not apologizing this time.

Eci has calmed down a bit though :P

Thats because the mods have deleted some of the things he's said lately and told all of us to cool it.
I did get riled up for sure, but its a lot worse at Autoblog. I think people believe they can say anything they want when there is no one in front of them. Being very general when I say that.

Haha AB is horrible. And everyone knows who the bad apples are. I like Jalopnik better. More cheerful and those guys are hillarious. But my fricken account got hacked. Someone posts under a different sn using my email so I can't get in. And I messaged the staff about it, no response.

Anyways, OP, it's still early for the '10 guys to be modding their cars. There isn't much talk about them right now because of the anticipation for the 2011. But just wait, all the 2010 guys are going to perk up to mod their cars to keep up with the 5.0! :P jkjkjk!!!

Exactly. I'll quietly worm my way into one down the road once all the hoopla has settled.

Who knows, years from now the '10s may end up being collector's items being a one-year-only car in a sense .

Ford has training courses on the new 3.7L and the 5.0L already up for it's technicians. Trust me, it's far from Vaporware

You can add me into the "a lot of people" that don't come here often because all the site is is a bunch of talk about cars that don't even exist yet.

To each their own I guess.
I'd rather have them go away than sit here whining and complaining all the time.

I really don't think eci was ever really that bad. Aside from a couple of times where he broke down into name-calling, most of the time he seemed like an unbiased guy, just really opinionated.

And we all have opinions, after all.

But, uh... I do think you need to look up the definition of vaporware, Adam.
