Actually no, the term quarter panel comes from "hind quarter" as in those of an animal. In fact, the rear door jamb of a 4-door car is called the "dog leg".

Sorry to hear about your damage. Any possibility it might be worthwhile to fix it without involving the insurance company to avoid future rate hikes?

Shop called me with the estimate this afternoon... $3100 give or take. I was choking after the 'three thousand' so not sure of the exact number. I think the only 'used' parts they could find were the headlamps and bumber cover. I ordered another grille insert from 3D Carbon (the one MARKETED as 'Eleanor style') and apparetnly that's cheaper than the OEM.

I'm gonna pay the $200 deductible and take my chances with the rates. I suspect they're going to hit me, but if it's inreasonable I'll be shopping that AND the homeowners.
