I own a cheap 2011 V6 MT - first impressions

I am new here. My new Mustang:

If you order a black 2011 Mustang with zero options, that is my car. 305HP V6, 6spd MT. 2.73 gears in back. Black over some kind of tan interior (black instrument panel and accents). I bought the car about two weeks ago with xplan. My impressions after 1000 miles:

1. I needed a (inexpensive) car for work travel, so I visited the Ford dealer and saw this beautiful Mustang sitting on the lot. I heard good things - great MPG, good power, good handling. I really wanted a v6 PP, but had concerns re the cost of repairs e.g. more expensive brakes, tires over time. Plus I don't know how good the PP would be in sketchy weather. I did want the 3:31 gears though.
2. Drove the car. I was impressed with the 2.73 rear end. Clutch is easy as on my Audi. On level ground, just let it up and the car goes forward (electronics I guess working here). No feathering of the throttle. Good for creeping in most traffic. Good power for on ramps, merging, digging from a stop. You just need to know how to use the tall gears (means more throttle). But not a car to learn stick on, as the 2.73s are not forgiving when fighting gravity - so you need more throttle in those situations compared maybe to a shorter gear. But overall, good power. Seat of the pants feel is good, but you do need to work the six above 3K for more fun.
3. Bought the car. People think it's expensive, but it's not. Even in basic (no option) form, this car has more equipment than many cars did 5 years ago. I do wish it had more12V outlets (two is just not enough these days)
4. In the first 1000 miles of city and highway driving, this car (probably like the 5.0) has two personalities. The first four gears are for going fast, the lastt two for economy on the highway. I have not touched the trip computer and am showing an average of 26mpg. With several extended runs at 80-85 mph. On the highway, the ride is smooth. So smooth, it's monotonous. Good ride control up to 80 mph - above this, I'd say the PP would probably be a benefit.

I hardwired my V1 here behind the driver's visor:

I've seen other RD installs and have several detectors. Some fancy ones with concealed displays, etc. In my experience, hardwiring behind the drivers visor is the best spot: Up high, clear view, easy to reach, easy to remove, and if you need to, quickly concealed by dropping the visor an inch or two.
5. I've owned lots of stangs over the years and this one impresses in stripped down form. For those of you questioning the 2.73's I say drive one. I'm sure not as fast as the 3.31's but I say a great economy (did I say that?) car with very good power.

Looking forward to putting 100K on in the next two years.

Basically the same as the one I drove not long ago except for the interior, the one I drove had the charcoal interior.

By the way, that interior color on your car is called "Stone".

Except for the steering wheel, I find very little lacking in the base car's interior.
