Lmao I did tell him he could borrow it for a road trip here and there. Part of my reasoning for him to not kill me for buying a brand new Mustang with an infant lol! He is def enjoying himself. He hasn't driven a fast car in a LONG time, since our 92 5.0, and it just doesn't compare...

I just realized who this is. Danielle, welcome back!!! Lol. I hope you've been well. Our cars have changed a lot since you've been gone . I remembered your username from one of your posts before about license plates

Hey Patrick:
Based on a previous post somewhere I assumed you were driving I5 all the way which is why I mentioned Medford & Central Point area (Rogue Valley).
Had I known you were going to add some scenery, I would have steered you over Willamette Pass via 58 over to 97S then to 138 to Crater Lake N Entrance.
That pass is a great 2 laner drive and a little quicker to CLNP which would have given you a bit more daylight to see the lake.
.
WPass has Salt Creek Falls too.

But your route coming up the Umpqua Valley 138 is a nice drive too. I know you didn't have time for a lot of stops but you drove by some great falls! Here's a few:
A) Clear Creek
B) Watson Falls

Wow I would've loved to have seen those places! Too bad we didn't have cell service for so long. We just got home. I gave my mom her first ride...and let's just say it's so epic, it is definitely going on YouTube LOL. Charlie we gotta get together next week! I know you'll love it, I am loving it!!
Btw, made it 990 miles home, and on about 975, a fricken rock kicked up off a pos Toyota a good 5-6 car lengths ahead of me, and smacked right on the passenger side of the windshield. No crack, but 5 little chips. at least it was a good maiden voyage and it could have been worse - my dad was driving at Crater Lake and came THIS close to hitting a deer that ran in front of us. It would've been my new GT500 bumper!
