Well, I checked the TB at lunch and it looks like brand new (well, it sort of is...) couldn't possibly be the problem. Reloaded the Bama tune, disconnected the battery and did the "relearn" procedure. Didn't help.

This car runs so much better on the Bama tune that I just hate it stock but I can't stand this crazy idle. I did notice it is much worse with the AC on. Maybe I'll try the stock tune again with the AC and hope it will consistently misbehave so the dealer can diagnose.

 

I have to say that Bama has helped me everytime I needed it and fast also. Everyone has a bad day. Guess this was Dougs

Read the link and can empathize with Doug and his situation . He is a stand-up guy and I figured something big was happening . Good luck to him in his struggles to pull his life together. God bless !
