Seriously, I agree, that damage is not minor.
it was repaired, and right now it's considered minor because you can tell but just barely.

If you "can tell, but just barely", it wasn't repaired correctly.

I tried trading in my 2012 Premium GT for a 2013 Boss at five dealers and them all offered 21,000 and would not budge. Car is in excellent condition and only has a few small dings on the front bumper from normal driving and road debris kicking up. Handing them printouts from KBB.com, Edmunds.com and NADA.com showing average trade in value at just over 24,000 didn't help as they just said that was the market at this time. I declined and ordered a new 2014 so that gives me few months to hopefully sell mine first. A few Dealers actually suggested going to CarMax because they will pay more than than regular dealers who undercut trade in value to certify their used cars.

You could just keep your car and fix it and be happy with what you have?

yeah that's what I decided to do, all the dealers here in NYC are offering me $19,000 trade in. I have to repaint the driver's side door, and fix the rear back up sonar.
