You will get many different opinions on these in here. I had the MRT units on my 05
for 4+ years, and have them on the 11. I have had no problems with wind pushing the hood down or anything else. Easy install, no drilling/riveting, great units in my opinion. Whichever you go with is a big plus, cleans up the compartment nicely and makes easier access to everything under the hood. Good luck with your decision.

I have the CDC kit.... but I hear some have mounting issues because the lower bracket is different for some 2010+...
Not sure if they fixed it; but I'm happy with mine. =]

Has anyone used the ones from American Muscle? I like AM...but not sure about these struts. They don't say the name on them.

I went with the redline kit. They did their homework in determining the correct geometry to open, close and hold a hood open.
I'm sure the other kits work fine but the geometry is far from ideal and requires a very high force gas spring to accomplish the same thing.
