Hood issues with Steeda strut mount.
About a year ago I install Bilstein B12s which are the Bilstein HD adjustable shocks and the eibach springs. I also added the steeda heavy duty strut mount. No problems, drove the car about 500 miles before putting it away over the winter.
As I have been working on getting it ready back on the road I noticed, mainly on the driver's side, where the hood meets the fender, that the hood is slightly above the fender like it's misligned. Turns out the bolts, mainly one of them on the steeda heavy duty strut mount is pushing on the hood insulation which is pushing up the hood. Once I open the hood it's fine.
Any ideas?

Could you please check? I don't get how it could be too long, a lot of people use these mounts and don't have this problem. The car is currently on jackstands and the wheels are off which I cannot see it effect the strut mounts in any way.
I just did. Little or some contact between the bolt and the hood insulation. The hood if flush against the bumper. Looks like the bolt sticks out just about 3/4 of an inch above tower. Hope this helps.

5-dot's post reminded me to check mine . . .
I see no signs of contact on the hood liner, and my hood liner has a recessed area that looks a little different from his. My bolts look about the same as his. Hood sits flush, or actually a hair low compared to the fender.
better late than never, I hope
