Holy cow fuel mileage!

I've been heartily enjoying my car (only 551 miles yet) and today I checked my average MPG to find that it's 17.7 right now. I've ran lots of WOT (reasonably speaking, of course) and I'm still getting that kind of mileage?! Yes, please. That's with a 33 mile commute to work, 75% open highway on the way in and 41 miles (I pick up my son on the way home [my wife drops him off in the mornings]) of dead traffic in which I only get past third gear when skip shift kicks in.

What kind of mileage are you guys getting? I'm nothing short of very impressed with this car. It's an incredible machine.

I've filled up twice and both times I averaged about 17 MPG with mixed highway and local driving. Admittedly, I've gotten on it more than a few times. I'm hoping it improves with break-in. I'll be happy with a mixed average of 20 MPG

Today, my gas mileage went up by 0.1 to 15.3 MPG and has remained there throughout the day. That's with a LOT of city driving. Half of my commute is near incessant stop lights. Today while coming back from lunch I drove the whole way, about 3 miles, never getting past 2nd gear because of all the bloody lights turning red. I'm quite pleased really. I wonder what Stinger gets with the tune.

Just got mine last night and on the way home (doing about 65 on the highway) the computer said we averaged 25.5 mpg and it only had 60 miles on it! Later on (when i did a good amount of city driving) it dropped to about 18.5 mpg which is awesome.
