Don't know if anyone has ever posted this? What is the highest intake air temp you have seen posted on your intake air temp gauge?

I have not driven in over 85 degree temps yet with my 2013 so only about 100 deg in traffic.

 

for me, about 37C. but as soon as i start moving it matches the outside temp. maybe 1C hotter

 

I have seen mine reach up to 120ish on track days when I am sitting in the grid in between runs.

 

I've seen as high as 140 F (60 C) stopped in traffic on a very hot day. Cools off quick once you get rolling. Usually ambient temp anytime the sustained speed is 50 MPH or higher. The CAI seems to heat up faster and cool off faster than the stock air box.

 

158 in Phoenix...but they say it's a dry heat !!!

 

Mine hit 120F the other day when it was 90 degrees out here in Pennsyltucky.

 

Saw 131 the other day in the 13. Thought maybe it was gonna splode. Stupid Austin friday traffic.
