HID Headlights
HID Headlights
When you drive at night do you get people flashing you because they think you have your brights on? I check and the bright indicator light isnt on and neither are my fog lamps. I've not been on the other end to know how bright they are, and I am sure they are not out of focus.
I usually get flashed 2 or 3 times on my drive home.

Very common! Especially if you run with the fogs on like I do. Sometimes at Dusk and Dawn I will run with just the fogs on and no head lights. Provides more than enough light to see well. But get used to getting flashed! And not in the way you would probably prefer!...
I don't get any negative feedback but this is NYC.
My advice would be the check the Aiming ASAP; I'd be more worried about losing additional lighting power and throw just cuz of 2 mm adjustment...

I get flashed quite a bit, and haven't been on the receiving end of a 13-14 either to see what it's like.
As a driver, they really don't seem to be overly bright. I'm thinking the other cars just seem to be at the right level to get the lights right on center, or they think the headlights are actually the high beams and the LED strips on each side are the low beam. So they probably see 4 lights and assume the high beams are on.

I drive City and Country driving to and fro....I get flashed....I flash back...usually cures it, but usually i will keep my eyes are the left edge of the road so in case I get a moron that wants turn on full brights just as I pass him I do not go blind. I can say I have had the HIDs from behind and on coming...yeah they are bright...I swear that the International Space Station can see me at times.
Another thing to consider is if you're carrying stuff.
Any weight in the trunk is acting as a lever to pry the front up. If you have softer springs, it won't be hard to tilt back at least one more degree.
If they're set normal, they aren't an issue.
I had a '13-'14 behind me this morning when it was dark out, looked completely fine.

1) Position lights only and LED grill mounted fog lights, or
2) Low beam no fogs
I get flashed only when I'm using (2). And I don't blame them. I know a '13-'14 GT when I see one coming down the road (I live in Detroit, there are quite a few). And those headlights are BRIGHT!
Hmm, I don't think so. The HIDs are BRIGHT when you're in the direct beam. I drive with 2 lights configurations on my 2014 GT: 1) Position lights only and LED grill mounted fog lights, or 2) Low beam no fogs I get flashed only when I'm using (2). And I don't blame them. What I'm not happy about tho is the factory color of the HIDs... I was driving my dad's rental (2014 Corolla) and they also come standard with HIDs and the color was a clean, crisp white with the Stangs has yellowish lights... Looks like I'm gonna have to upgrade the bulb

I was driving the other night.....here in Indiana in the country....HID's rock!!!! without I know I would not have had the time to adjust speed and position with the two deer walking across the road. I feel for those that do not have them....
