I'm having a hard time getting the story straight. I'm about to order a 2014 Mustang, and Ford Canada is making it difficult since their website is not up to date, and the Ford dealers are unable to help me at this point (2013 brochures only and they're just coming out of winter!). So, I'm turning to the best guys for the job, aka you !

This is what I have in mind:

• V6 Premium manual
• Ruby red with tan leather interior
• COA package
• Performance package
• Electronics package

Now, from what I can decipher from the 2014 ordering guide, the V6 premium now comes standard with leather. 2013 COA also came with IUP & comfort packages, is that the same for 2014. Anyways, can you confirm all this ?

Also, leather Recaros were not available in 2013 for the V6. Are they available in 2014 ? If they are, what do I have to sacrifice to get them ? The comfort package & interior color are obvious guesses, but is there anything else ?

The car will be a daily driver, even in winter (did that too with my 2005 GT) so heated seats & mirrors would be nice.

I'm also looking for the Ford Racing brake upgrade (M-2300-S) since it has pretty much all I need... Is this something that can be ordered / dealer installed ?

Wow...tan leather now? I wish they had that for '13s...I sure would have got sucked in with the tan. Almost always in Canada, with cars that aren't at least quasi-luxury, the only leather color offered is black (Mustang has "red" too) even though other countries incl. U.S. typically get tan etc. I try to keep the inside of my cars "light", especially if there's a lot of black trim, though I have to say black looks pretty good in the Mustang. Enjoy.

Recaros were only offered on "stripped"/basic (i.e. probably for track) V6s in '13 here. They are manual and unheated regardless of car model, so that's what you'll give up if you get them.

Oh yeah, the mirrors are heated, least on the Premium here.

For the record, leather recaros are not available and electronics pkg is crippled in Canada because no trafic info is available.

Hmmm yours looks light beige or white though ? The 2014 color is "saddle"
