Has anyone removed thier spoiler
Your abolutely right, but if they have incompetent people working for them that do work like that imagine the other cut rate businesses they use to repair botcheries like that. Perhaps he can find a good reputable pdr and have the dealer pay them. All I'm saying is I'd rather go the paintless route vs Bondo, painting blending. At that point I'd tell them to buy me a new trunk lid and start fresh. Either way I wish the OP the best, and hope they make things right for him.

Like i said in your other Thread about this............Looks like a 'child' did this. Looks like your dealer took a crowbar to it. Did they think it was 3M taped on? This has to be the worst thing i have ever seen done by a dealer
Holy Crap! They need to fire the guy that worked on your car! The only resolution would be a completely new decklid ... and hope to hell they can match the paint without having to blend it with the rest of the car!
I see at least 8 creases along the top of the decklid from the original removal .. now more in the back ...

Not sure what I am going to do. Thinkng about paying a good body shop to fix it. I am just sick to my stomach over something that should have been easy.
I am furious. The dealer said they will make it right, by fixing it (probably bondo and paint) but will not replace the lid. They also think that I should live with it that it is not that bad when they put the new spoiler on it.

no f'n way should you have to live with that.
As I responded in your other post , I think you should contact the district manager. If that doesn't work I would contact Ford customer service. Why should you have to pay for the repair when it was obviously damaged due to their incompetence. I think a new trunk lid is not unreasonable.
Wow, that's terrible, I hope you make them replace that...
This really makes me mad though, because I was originally going to have a dealer take off the stock spoiler on an 11' mustang and replace it with the pedestal spoiler, but he told me it would cost $2500 JUST to repaint where the old spoiler was. I told them to stick it. It looks to me like there isnt any paint removed from taking off that spoiler up there at all. grrr. O well, now I have a brand new 12' on the way (from a different dealership) that's exactly what I want =)

This is exactly why I do all of my own work. I'd be so pissed.
I hope you take this as advice and not as finger pointing.
I suggest going to Sears and grabbing a $200 mechanics set, a good floor jack and jack stands, a torque wrench, and some ratcheting wrenches.
You can do almost everything with these tools, and anytime you do another install, you pick up the 1 or 2 misc tools needed.
I feel that if you are on Mustang forums, you have all the knowledge needed just a click away.
The spoiler removal takes a spool of fishing line or weed eater line, a bottle of goo gone, a razor blade, and a few bolts. 8mm I believe.
That's it. 30 minutes and you could have replaced the spoiler yourself, saved the issues you have now, and gained a little bit of wrenching knowledge.
Each part you install yourself increases your confidence to do the bigger installs.
I hope you take this as advice and not as finger pointing.

UPDATE
Here is and update.
Took the car back last Friday to get it fixed. The Service Director told me that he would make it right. He seemed a lot more professional than the GM. My perseption was the the GM was more interested in sales and the Service Director was interested in keeping the customer satisfied.
Anyway, they called me yesterday and said they were replacing the trunk lid and the spoiler. When they painted the spoiler they also painted the bottom, which is supposed to not be painted and match the rest of the dark gray plastic on the car.
Bottom Line it appears that the car will be fixed correctly!!!!
