Most of the time they aren't worth the cost of the gas that I would use during said Shenanigans.

 

One of my friends (who thinks he knows a lot about cars) asked me if my V6 was a Saleen one time. He thought my CAI was the coolest thing ever

When i first got mine a year ago, during my first oil change, some guy was like, "I have a friend with a Mustang and I hope you aren't like him, he think everyone is always looking at his 5.0"... I quickly stated, no its just a Base 5.0....

Over the next year, I've been proven wrong! I get a lot of looks! Mostly from young people and really old guys (who I'm guessing used to have one)...

Hmm... on second thought... it could be because my Lab is always in the passenger seat staring at people while at intersections. lol

 

The appeal stretches across platforms as well. I get as much attention in my Terminator as I do in my Shelby.

 

I completely forgot about the attention these cars get until i got back into one.

Someone once told me "nice car, but better not be in a place you shouldn't be - everyone will know you were there!"

 

I've noticed ppl taking pics as I drive past or ask me to wait at the light to pose with her. Last week a guy in a M5 gave the thumbs up while his kid riding shot gun was climbing all over the place to get a better look. Love it.
