So by the photo, it looks like the engine is a stock 5.0 motor? No real upgrades there.
Isn't that the whole or part of reason of buying a Shelby. To have that beast of a machine underneath the hood.
Looks sweet, but kinda reminds me of "fools gold" it's not same thing,
If he wants a replica, he should do it right or not do it at all. Like others have said, he's missing some key mods

Be careful. Slutty girls with jewelry and sequined jeans will wreck havoc on a center console. I speak from experience.

I didn't realize he was so close to me. Wish I could afford it. I'd buy it and save it by removing the all the fake stuff. His brakes came out really nice (and Danielle, I remember him having the Baer Eradispeed rotors put on after he spun the car and did some rear end damage to it).
If only he had left the side stripes alone and not put the snake in the grille, the car would be great.

This car can be saved. We have the technology, we can rebuild it...

Nope - I'm of the opinion that mine's better looking, and I've certainly put more effort into it. Besides, I don't care for the color or the 2013 front/rear end.
If I were to sell my car, I'd take the SHELBY letters off first if they're still on it (or at least offer to do it for the buyer), and since the mods on my car are completely documented for all to see, there would be no question as to whether or not I was overstating what's on the car.
As to the car in question, it's up to the owner if he wants to drive it around the way it's configured. If he wants to sell it as a replica, that's a bit of a stretch because it in no way replicates a Shelby beyond the grille and cobra emblem (someone else already noted that it doesn't have the correct hood). It even still has the GT faux gas cap. At least he's not claiming it's a real Shelby. I'm sure everyone here would huff and puff and sweat profusely over that.
On the other hand, it's certainly a nice looking car, and with minimal work requiring maybe 15 minutes, the offending Shelby stuff could be removed. Finally, it's also a GT that ain't worth the $37k asking price (regardless of the mods that are - or are not - on the car), but I hope he gets what he's asking (or at least close to it).
And for Danielle who said he was claiming Baer brakes, read the ad again. It's Baer ROTORS with Brembo calipers, which makes it Brembo brakes, since it's the calipers that brand the brakes.
Finally, making playground-level remarks about other users on the forum doesn't really work. It's not funny - it's merely childishly pathetic and indicative of a small and simple mind, and if I felt it was worth my time, I'd feel sorry for all of you. Y'all need to grow up, and while on the precarious road to adulthood, find better things to do with your free time. What someone else does to their car is not a life-changing event for casual observers.

Well, we all know most Shelby's are a lot more than just badges and striping. Better brakes, lighter wheels, interior upgrades, and an improved suspension, and in all cases (GT500, GT350, and GTS), different body kits. But I agree on the over-priced part (with the proviso that ALL new cars are over-priced today, which eliminates the implied sole ownership of the title from Shelbys for the overly-sensitive).

To each his own on the looks of the car, however, I do think its deceptive to offer up factory options as additional "upgrades" to create the illusion of 12k in added value. Track pack and recaros specifically .... I guess unless he added them after purchase.

Apparently these clones are in high demand. This one happens to be a six banger bearing the snakes on its fenders.
I really wish someone would do a 10-14 Saleen clone. That would be cool. Most likely wont happen as the parts are ridiculous. The hood alone was like 1200. Thats if its even still being manufactured.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-Mustang-Convertible-2011-mustang-convertible-cobra-clone-customized-/130876581652?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item1e78da2714#ht_500wt_1182
