GT 500 mufflers on my 2011 GT, now with video

sorry it's only from my iphone, but here's the requested video of my car after the install by rehagen racing.

one thing i forgot to mention. the iphone mic doesn't pick up a lot of the mid range harmonics that you'd get live.

forgot to include video from inside at 3000 RPM in 3rd gear. notice the lack of drone.

very pleased. i think it strikes the right balance between obnoxious and livable as far as loudness is concerned. in person, the harmonics are just right for my taste. sounds like a muscle car but not like a euro GT car.

Wonderful!
How much louder is it over stock when you really open it up? I can't wait to put them on. I wish the tips were nicer but oh well

i'd say they're nearly twice as loud, at least as far as i can tell from the inside. also the mid range and burble is pretty awesome.

You the man! Thanks for taking your time.

Do you have anything else done to the car? I think this will be my last mod.

Very, very nice. Are those 2010 or '11 mufflers?

i plan on getting the windows tinted in the spring and possibly lowering the car 1" at that time as well. i'll be getting the side markers changed from orange to black pretty soon.

the other items on the list are a livernois 93 octane tune and a steeda intake.

basically my car is stock and this is my first, of several, mods.

Thanks for posting the vids... now I'm pretty torn between the Borla, Steeda and GT500 axle backs... decisions, decisions, decisions...

Don't know???

I like the way mine sound. And I like $285 to my door. And I like the one-hour install. Not too loud, nicer sound, no drone.

2 posts above yours were the words, "no drone" from someone with those mufflers. I take that to mean in ANY rpm range, but I'll soon find out for myself anyway because Fed-Ex tracking says my SVT mufflers are "on Fed-Ex vehicle for delivery".

FED-EX JUST DROPPED OFF MY SVT MUFFLERS!!

They're a lot bigger than I thought they'd be. Freakin' HUGE! The 4" tips are gigantic. I think I like them better than rolled tips because they don't look fake at all (from some angles the rolled tips look like extensions to me).

This puts the rest of college afternoon football on hold...

Where does it say specifically no drone in Any rpm range?
