Grille removal without taking off the whole **** bumper cover?

Is this possible? I haven't had a lot of time to mess with this but after popping out all of the plastic pegs that hold the plastic at the front of the engine bay, I can see there are tabs that hold the grille to the bumper cover inside...before I forced the issue and risked snapping them off, is there anything that cannot be reached without removing the whole ******* bumper cover?

Thanks!!

I love how this forum "****s" over even the mildest of swear words and makes you look like a real bad ***.

Yes it can be done. The grille will pop out a lot easier if you allow the car to sit out in the warm sun which helps make the plastic more pliable.

On the other hand you can have the front bumper off in about 20 mins.

That's a good tip! Will do. Thanks.

Yeah, it's probably not that bad if necessary.

Mike, yeah all those vid links they have above are for 13s and 14s.

As for our 11-12 grilles/bumper, I've done the removal a few times now and it literally takes me 5 to 10 minutes or so, depending on how careful I am. Just remove the whole bumper, it will be safer that way too. Then just set it down on the carpet living room floor

Ok... if it's that easy, I guess I'll just do it.

The encouragement is greatly appreciated. I have fears of scratching it up or not getting it align correctly whe reinstalling it...but perhaps I'm overestinating the risk.

Another pair of hands will really help. The rear is just as easy. I just needed someone to hold it for me while I plugged the license plate light harness back in. Other than that, I did everything myself.

I removed and replaced the grille on my 2011 in about an hour without removing the bumper cover.
