How does somebody still have a license with a driving record 7 pages long with several points?

I put on the aftermarket Raxiom tail lights from American Muscle. The bottom black valance is visibly scratched up and one of the back up sensors don't work. I get a message on my dash saying "check rear sensor". Can I just unplug the rear sensors so this message goes away? Other than that....let me know what you think

Actually looks ok. Might look into replacing the lower if you run across a deal. I am kind of middle of the road on the tail lights.....wish they had a more distinct black divider between the three bulb sections.

You still without insurance?

Glad you got it fixed, doesn't look too bad but insurance is a good thing for the most part. Don't hit anything expensive sounds like you probally have low limits. I have full coverage on all 3 of my cars cost about $2,500yr, The mustang has Grundy agreed value full coverage.

keep an eye out on http://www.newtakeoff.com/ they have deals on new parts for cheap that come up like bumpers for a few hundred bucks.

yeah I was actually looking into these http://www.americanmuscle.com/roush-...ce-2010gt.html
What you think I should do about the rear sonar issue? replace the valance, then fix the sonar sensor or what?

I would fix the reverse sensors first....and does that Roush valance have the mounting holes for those sensors.

I like the looks of the stock valance on my GT/CS which a lot of others switch to.

do you know how to disable the sonar sensors? It's not letting me choose between "yes" or "no" on the dash screen. When i shift into reverse it just says "check rear sonar". Maybe I can unplug it somewhere or something?

Willie3213, IMO you deserve a medal for taking the (much needed) criticism and pressing on. Check out craig's list or something along the way. There are several people who may have changed out the rear diffuser. Their may be luck in finding one with the sensors on them.

I would guess....about the sensors that as long as the computer system was programmed for them to function, unplugging them would still give an error on the dash....telling you to check them.

Have you asked Ford parts about getting one? Also, possibly a body shop would have some they held onto from other vehicles they have repaired.

You can also call a local salvage yard. Ask about a Mustang that has been in a front end related accident and check for the rear valance. Many of these places allow you to come in and take the part off the car, resulting in a much lower cost.
