I just joined the site, I will be taking delivery of an 2011 Glass Top GT. It ended up being the right car for the price and mileage, from talking with the owner it hasn't been modified at all.

But otherwise, congrats on the glass roof. I kinda wish I'd gotten one.

I think they only did it in 10 and 11.

I'll find out more when I get it home and up to the Ford Dealer to get a window sticker and build sheet. The the hood scoop isn't from the factory that really isn't a deal breaker at all.

Absolutely right. Stock hood with optional scoop and rear pedestal spoiler. Scoop was available with a cetain trim package or could be dealer installed if one didn't want everything the package offered.

I stand corrected. Sorry for the misinformation. This is the first I've seen or heard about this factory scoop, and I feel like I've seen a whole bunch of Mustangs and read a whole bunch too.

No big deal, there's so many different options that are available on these cars without a build sheet it can be hard to tell what they came with out of the factory.

I just took delivery of a 14 coyote w/ the glass roof. Have any of you had problems with crazing? (yes that word is spelled right, I know some haven't heard of it. It's common on the c5 vettes)

I haven't heard anything about crazing on the Mustang glass roofs but hopefully someone else who knows more will chime in.
I'm pretty sure that crazing only affects plastics and the Mustang glass roof is actually glass. I guess the C5 vette tops were probably made of polycarbonate or something that was subject to crazing.
but I'm only guessing!

Have not heard or seen the problem you ask about in the Mustang Glasstop optioned cars. I have the Glasstop in my '14 and all good here! I monitor many sites and never seen anything but love for this option. Good luck and enjoy your new ride!
