I would assume so. Because it's a Ford supercharger for a Ford engine. It's not like kenne bell or edelbrock or someone will beat Ford at modifying their own engine. I'm not saying that KB or anybody won't have one out at release time, but i'm saying that I believe that FRPP will more than likely have one available at or very short after release time.
Hopefully they've done some testing and know what the engine can handle. I'm sure the engine will be fine with 8psi or 10. But I don't know about numbers like 20. Hopefully ford can help us out with some info around release time about this. I doubt it though.

I doubt it. They won't want to step on GT500 toes right off the bat. Even though we all know that Ford has to have something up it's sleeve for the GT500, they won't want to release a factory installed/warratied SC kit for the new GT engine that will make it faster (and cheaper) than a GT500.
Yes you can get the FRPP HO kit now, but even when the '10s were unveiled, they only showed off the 400hp kit. Still left enough room in between the GT and GT500. This time, a "base" FRPP SC kit will put the GT way into GT500 territory. They won't want to spank their halo car right off the bat.

...and depending on previous trends...will (depending on level of performance) continue to carry a factory warranty for a short period of time.
It'd be nice if they offered it for the duration of the B2B warranty though.

No idea.
I'd love to see it, but I think even with the 3v we had to wait a bit.
Guess it all depends on who the supplier is, and if they've had a chance to mess with one yet

As you can probably tell im a SC rookie. What kind of numbers would we be looking at on average if we slapped a SC on the new 5.0? Im sure the 5.0 will feel like an absolute beast over my '03 GT but i have always loved the sound of a SCer and if i can get on installed that does not void the warranty then I might go for it all right out of the gate.

Supercharger. Been there, done that. How about a Turbocharger? You know they've been messing with the Ecoboost system on the 5.0. Why not release it as a kit through Ford Racing. Sure you won't get the MPG the production Ecoboost's do but you will get the power.

I can't see a SCer being available anytime soon, if ever (from FRPP anyway). A few bolt ons are already going to make this car plently quick. If you wanty a 500 + hp SCed Mustang, there already is one. I think the increased power of the 2011 GT will also eliminate some of the market for a SCer since it will be more than enough power for the vast majority of GT buyers.

I think after you figure all the money you'll spend putting in a SC and beefing up everything else to handle the additional power, you'll find that you could have bought the Shelby for only a few thousand more. Factor in resale value and the Shelby might have the cheaper cost of ownership.

There's only one TT V8 programme Ford have going.
It has nothing to do with Coyote's block,
it's not the V8 Ecoboost that was talked about in '07-'08 that is now defunct,
and it's not made of Aluminum.
The next generation of performance motors from Ford will rule supreme
Oh, yes there will
But only in Australia

I think they will save the TT5.0 as the next GT500 motor

People will still S/C or Turbo their engines. As long as there is a kit available, people will do it. Hell you have Camaro owners going F/I on their LS3's. Why would we be any different ?
Whipple I know has a S/C ready for the 5.0. I would only guess that KB, ATI, Vortech also have products line up. Turbo, well thats another animal all together. Not to sure on their front.

Yeah, Whipple, makers of the world's best twin-screw supercharger ( ), works directly with Ford, so they'll undoubtedly be the first to market with a twin-screw supercharger for the 5.0L. Ford even does all of their tuning for them, testing the supercharger/engine combo like they would a new engine. Folks like KB and the like will probably have to wait until the car is released to begin working on their respective kits. Even then, they'll have to write their own tunes, which may be a bear considering the new motor's compression, etc.
I'm willing to bet that Roush has something in the works, too, since they're pretty close to Ford. They were the first, by far, with their 2010 427R whereas Steeda and Saleen are just now showing their aftermarket variants.
