Found all the 2010-11 V6 Convertibles

Just got back from Orlando Florida, everywhere you looked there was another Convertible Mustang Rental Car, I counted 4 on my street in my Timeshare alone. Plus it seems like everywhere you went there was 2 or 3 more.

I just got back yesterday too. Saw a few '11 V6's, but tons of 10's.

Bet they're all automatics. Back in 1993 a friend & I were both going through a divorce at the same time. We decided to fly to Miami, get a white Mustang convertible (1993 model) rental, and cruise Key West as if we were college students (we were 30). What an awesome time we had, at least until he cut his leg open on the corner of the windshield trying to hurdle into the car like Thomas Magnum, P.I.

I saw at least 40 V6 convertibles during a drive down to Key West last week. Almost all were base models which I now realize was probably because they were rentals. Saw only one GT vert and one GT coupe during the same trip.

I posted about this a few weeks ago, except I was in Hawaii. Half the rentals there are convertible Mustangs.

Sounds like fun, I'd like to rent one when I go down there in December . . .

OOPS! $1,250 for a week at Hertz! That's WAY too much, I can either forget it or gotta negotiate a better deal . . . maybe I'll show up at the counter and offer them $50/day, if they have a lot of them sitting around you never know . . .

EDIT: Dollar has them for $565 for the week . . . still a little steep but getting better!

The guy across the street with the 2010 was paying $60 a day and the guy down the road had a 2011 and it was $75 a day. The guy with the Coupe had it for 30 dollars a day, it was rented in Ohio though. All were Automatics with the Tape and Rear Spoiler.
