Ford TPMS Reset Tool 2007-09 vs. 2010-11 ...

On e-bay and American Muscle a Ford TPMS Re-set tool / Programer is listed for '07-09, but not '10-11. Ameican Muscle shows a complete 2010-11 kit with what appears to be the same re-set tool, but want to verify that it really is the same tool programer that works on both types of sensors.

Advertised as for 2007 & 2008:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FORD-...tomotive_Tools

Advertised as for 2007 - 2009:
http://www.americanmuscle.com/tpms-tool.html

2010-11 complete kit:
http://www.americanmuscle.com/tpms-fullkit-2010.html

If the re-set tool is the same, why buy this AM kit when I can ...

Get the re-set tool separate from AM for $35 and a new set of 4 sensors from tirerack for $160.64 delivered (saves $104).
or
Get the re-set tool from AM and used sensors with new stems for $125 off of e-bay and save $139.

Something just does not seem right here !!

Have you checked your dealer for the sensors? The reset tool is the same for all years and models from about '06 and up. You just need to hold the tool in the correct location depending on what type of wheel sensor you have. The reset tool is between $30 and $40 from a dealer also, and they usually have them in stock. You don't need the instructional DVD, the procedure to get the vehicle into learning mode is simple once you do it a couple times.
